Hi everyone, if you missed the documentary film "Iraq for Sale" it is on Comcast On Demand, if you have it, free, until January 24. This is a decent film, made in 2006. Doesn't go as deep as I would like, they never do, but its OK. It in part covers the 4 contractors that were killed and burned and hung from a bridge and their families journeys, but it goes a lot further than that, into several ways Iraq is used for war profiteering. If memory serves it covers the "guns for hire", from Romania, that we don't see on TV.
You will find it under DRAMA films. Take advantage of this and see it if you have this service., it's worth your time and watching will prompt some more questions. When I saw it, I went to a local screening, the first I have attended, and became aware of a group here in Denver, that show these type films. If you live in Denver, the website is www.argusfest.org There are films usually once a week on Thursday evening, and sometimes special films and events on Sundays. Take care, Candace
