This is in Michael Mandeville's email today. I find his explanations of the affects of other solar bodies on the earth interesting and usually but not always understandable to me.  Planets do affect the sun and earth other when in close proximity, but I have never ascribed to the "astrology" stuff out there that suggests Pluto or whatever controls money and this sort of thing. Mars however does carry a lot of negative energy still from the warring on it's surface long ago, that destroyed the atmosphere and caused all life to be incinerated.

Regards his comments on the economy, some big wig in one of the failing institutions made something like $26 million I heard on TV today, not sure who or the exact figure, didn't take notes, but this is surely one of the reasons for economic troubles when the big wigs make this quantity of money.-Candace

Earth Changes Bulletin Weekly Update As Of November 17 2008

CRITICAL ALERTS

Much too much still going on through many personal and world fronts and, except for a lively Full Moon Syzygy quake window AND the discovery that the climate model data for global warming during October was being fed erroneous data, still not much is happening on the physical Earth Changes front at this time. Thus once again a full formal update is not being done again this week. Here is a quick profile of sun, moon, and quakes.

Solar Activity

The Sunspot count was 11 on November 16 on a stable Flux Index of 68 after a week of Sunspots which rose to as high as 21 last week. There has not been any other significant activity in the form of major Solar Storms, flares, and CME's. This was a surprisingly early rise to great the Mercury alignment with Mar on 11-24-08. Activity is likely to drop off fairly soon and remain low key until well into December for the Mercury alignment with Jupiter, which ought to produce at similar if not greater rise in Solar Activity.

REPEAT: Here is the schedule of alignments through the end of the year. Solar Activity will typically 9 days to 3 days in advance of the alignment, sometimes dead on or a couple of days afterwards when the alignments are complex involving three or more planets. Mercury will be following Venus around past these planets during the next several weeks, which should give us several bumps in solar activity as it flies by the planets to form alignments:

Mars – 11-24-08

Pluto – 12-04-08 (usually not any result)

Jupiter – 12-15-08

Neptune – 12-24-09

Uranus – 12-29-08 with Mars | Pluto as a double-header (Mars with Pluto probably will not add anything)

Quakes:

After a surprising (unexpected) brief surge in Class 6+ quakes during the past several days, activity Class 4+ has fallen to very low levels during the past 3 days, as predicted. Another surge will commence mid-month, in fact at any time, r

The Full Moon Syzygy for November 10-16 produced one of the strongest surges of quake activity for the last half of 2008 (as predicted). The surge may still be underway as of this writing on November 17 but it is likely to fall off soon. The surge brought some release of North America against the Pacific Ocean Plate with some Class 4 quakes, plus several Class 4 and 5 quakes in the High Arctic (within 10 degrees of the North Pole), and substantial activity on the northern and eastern edges of the Australian Tectonic Plate, from Sulawesi through to nearly New Zealand. Sulawesi was struck with a 7.5 quake and many large aftershocks.

The Next New Moon

Extreme South Declination on November 29 & 30 in Apogee (which weakens the impact significantly) at the same time, just a day after the New Moon conjunction with the Sun on November 28 & 29. There is likely to be a relatively small flurry of quake activity round about November 26-December 1. This may be a stronger New Moon flurry that the past three, but like the others it should be mostly unmemorable.

Full Moon Syzygies For The Remainder Of The Year. (as previously described)

More dangerous for this year is the coming Full Moon December 12. This Full Moon will be more powerful because of the very close synchronicity of Perigee, Extreme Declination, and Phase (opposition to the Sun). All will merge about December 12/13 (UTC time). Most of the world will experience the strong surge beginning late on December 12 and continuing strongly though December 14, perhaps slightly longer. This Full Moon Syzygy begins about December 9 and persists through to about 15.

If a great quake event is to strike in the Pacific Rim, such as along the North American coast, it is most probable for this year to occur during this December Full Moon. Alaska, Japan, Australian Plate North and East, central Asia/China, Pakistan-Aegean Belt, all possible.

Instead of being spread out over five days, all three aspects of the Lunar cycle will synergize on December 12/13 to maximize the gravity influence of the Moon on the Earth's crust. The Sun and Moon will play tug of war with most of the energy of pull at 180 degrees (Sun in the South at 23 degrees, Moon in the North at 28 degrees) in an intense, short period, a gravitational laser beam as it were pulling the Earth apart at the seams of the Great Rift which runs through the bottoms of the Earth's oceans. The Earth will be closing in on its Perihelion (last week of December and first week of January), which is its closest approach to the Sun. The cosmic frame will thusly be synchronized to induce maximum torque into the motions of the Earth's crust at this time. January's Full Moon will be very similar IN Perihelion. Accordingly the peak tectonic moments for the Earth will be December 12/13 (for 2008) followed by what will probably be the peak tectonic moment for 2009 on the Full Moon of January 11, 2009. (I have not drawn the ephemeris graph yet for 2009 so this may be modified when I do). Since the moment of Perihelion is approximately January 6, the week of January 6-12 will most likely produce the greatest amount of tectonic change for all of 2009.

Both of these events will accelerate rifting (spreading in the Great Rift) of the Earth's crust. Increases in rift events are likely to be followed, as we have seen this year, within 72 hours by an increase in Class 4+ quakes in the subduction compression zones, most especially in the Pacific Rim of Fire and in the Central Asian Compression Belts, esp. related to the Himalayas through to Greece.

The New Moons

The New Moons in late October through January 2009 may be similar to this just past New Moon. The tandem may work (at least part of the time) like this: the Full Moon sets up the shape-shifting tension, the New Moon releases. The New Moons may bring major releases in compression zones, such as we are currently seeing in Central China. Fortunately for us at the current time, these are weak New Moons, they are occurring at or near Apogee. Later on in 2009 (Spring) the New Moons will become stronger than the Full Moons.

Accordingly, hang on, the ride is getting bouncier and 2008 may end up showing yet another annual acceleration in all World quakes Class 4 and above. About the middle of January I will compile new quake graphs and compute the lastest growth numbers and trend predictions. This data will be included in the final version of the Return of the Phoenix and hopefully will close out the work.

Volcanoes:

No review done this week, activity is low at the current time. Activity will most likely begin to bounce up again, likely beginning in late December.

Global Warming Syndrome: (This rant repeats last week)

A paradox in various measurements may appear (almost certainly will appear) as statisticians compute geophysical measurements for 2008. Likely the Arctic warmed and melted more than ever but also likely atmospheric temperatures recorded for the world actually declined over all. Glaciers, for instance, appear to have grown in Alaska, a sure indicator of cooler air on average. Thus Global Cooling is likely to be proclaimed by the critics of Global Warming while environmentalists fuss about the Polar Bears and other changes in the Arctic produced by wider ice melts. What is happening? Simple. The Sun is in Solar MIN and the growth in volcanic activity slowed but total activity remained at relatively high levels. Thus the Arctic continued to warm slightly more (from heat flow from the underwater volcanic rifts) but the less active Sun drove much less energy (from the oceans) through the atmosphere during 2007/2008, accounting for the resurge in some glaciers and the virtual collapse of the weather people's earnest models for predicting hurricanes.

It is tough being a weatherman trying to predict the climate from the weather. It is COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE. Historical stats will not help much of the time. The atmosphere is a completely passive, reactive element in the system, it is completely driven by the solar frame, the Earth's orbit, and the heat flow in the Earth and the oceans. The gases in the atmosphere mostly have no effect on the Earth's averaged 24 hour heat stats (averaged out through the year). Most of the climate regime is determined pure and simple by the flow of water vapor out of the ocean basins through the latitudes and across the longitudes. This is entirely driven by the Solar Activity cycle(s) and by the heat flow from the bottom of the oceans. These of course do greatly influence the retained heat.

As they stand at the moment, the world climate models in the super computers are merely half-baked make-work for academic welfare queens drawing on their climate research accounts.

Unfortunately, despite large, broad, fully informed scientific opposition to Al Gore's fanatical arm-waving about carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, many Globalist cliques will make a major effort to impose carbon taxes on world economies. This will create massive conflicts around the planet and embroil humanity IN A LUDICROUS COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND RESOURCES dealing with a paranoid delusion.

The Economy:

All headed down. The October Trick or Treat Stick-Up of the U.S. Economy continues apace with a new round of effort by Big City Majors, Governors, and Auto Industry Acts to horn in on the $700 Billion Bailout Program. Ohhh, who are we kidding, it's not 700 B, it is really a book of blank checks on the bank of unlimited debts. General Motors (what's good form GM is good for the country, do you remember that old adage?) is begging for a <<<<<mere>>>>>>>> 25 B but it is getting a cold shoulder because of analytic reports which are spreading around the media which indicate that the auto industry is essentially bankrupt and a minimum of 200 B is needed to restructure it.

Restructure is a good idea. Convene a special court and bankrupt the entire industry, have teams of engineers appointed (no lawyers, bankers, or investment advisors allowed) to commandeer all assets and distribute them into 12 new companies distributed throughout North America, all existing stock equities restructured between them on an equitable basis by grandmothers from the Navajo tribe (no lawyers, bankers, or investment advisors allowed), or simple people of similar ethical and moral qualifications.

Eliminate ALMOST ALL stylists, glitz designers, and marketing con men. Hire real people and limit all corporate salaries to no greater than 20X the lowest paid hourly worker. Board of Directors formed by engineers and scientists and passed down by them primarily to engineers and scientists. Restructure all employment contracts on a 9 month annual basis. Have the U.S. Government issue purchase orders to each company for automotive products and RETRO tech which will get at least 40 mpg for most classes of non-commercial vehicles and can use either electricity or can burn any and all liquid and gaseous fuels at standards which meet or equal California air quality standards. Form a U.S. National Bank funded by Congress which provides cash infusions as needed on the basis of preferred stock which draws a dividend on net but NO interest on debt. Eventually the preferred stock can be bought back by the companies or sold on the open markets.

This is easily done and will begin the process of rebuilding an industrial base in North America. Since it is so simple and logical and essentially removes their parasitical drains from the industry, the Caballists will surely oppose it tooth and nail. As it is is, any current bailout of the auto industry to proceed as it has will be utterly wasted. This is the likely trajectory.
