Hi all, I think the quiet sun is starting to awaken into the new cycle. I couldn't watch it for awhile because a "bakeout" was going on on SOHO, meaning something was being dried out with a heater. When the daily pics starting  coming up again, I noticed more flares than before.  Here's a link to the pic of the week there, showing flares almost making a perfert cross if you were to connect them. There is finally a tiny little sunspot with magnetics matching the new solar cycle too that has recently appreared. This pic below was taken August 22.
