We have finished our current donation run... ended August 28. We have enough for 3 months counting this month of September which we paid in late August. So we shall take another look the end of October as we pay the bills for November and see where we are and what is going on.
None of us with AbundantHope takes a salary... We all volunteer. We don't have ads...we are necessarily "reader supported"....and are blessed that always have so many of you supported us thru Paypal.. since some time I think well into 2006 after we opened the website itself in late 2005 when it became necessary to seek funding initially to get a better piece of Software... which in the early days we had to rent monthly. Then we needed more space and we opened out first public forum. We grew and we have been very blessed over this many years now. We are family.
In the early days before we opened the website.. Patrick Bellringer of FourWinds carried the material and I remain grateful for that. Patrict passed recently from Cancer and I am saddened by that loss. I wish his family love in the aftermath.
We tried to make our new Talk it Up forum supported separately but the paypal software did not run well on it.. so if any of you wish a donation to go to Talk It Up Two.. please let us know when you send the donation.. there is a place to leave a note.
Quite a few of us give significant time.. myself at least 60 hours per week... and then Ron and Christ give a great deal of time and those that assist both of them also. Webmaster Mark ... has always given us the time needed around this project in addition to working a full time job. He put in extra some months ago getting the new Talk It UP going which was requested by those above.
Christ Lippens built our Library and continues heavy work on the New Talk It Up getting spiritual material up for any new readers and those to come. Our Main site is a news paper format and not good to showcase all the new material that continues to appear on the web and he has an excellent selection on the new forum of PJ material and more. A forum format works much better to sort and post a variety of material plus a place to be part of community.
We of course have several outstanding telepaths... and many others who bring us tidbits of their own receiving on our private forum and some extended themselves to the new public forum.
Barbara Rota is posting heavily on the new forum and keeps our private forum very up to date in serveral catagories.
Vera keeps a lot going on the new forum too. Rosie makes her contributions. Brian G continues to assist Ron on the front site and Christ L gets up the translations there and more. And thanks much to the translators!!!!!!!!!
