Message 87: LEAVE EVERYTHING BEHIND SO THAT YOU MAY GAIN EVERYTHING:
THE VALUE OF SACRED SIMPLICITY

R: Dearest Seraphin: for some time now I have sensed you wish to say something about SIMPLICITY. This is something we seem to have forgotten ….
S: Indeed, Dearest. In the final analysis, things are so simple, irrespective of whether we perceive a situation to be complicated, whether it lacks transparency, or whether it appears to cause pain for you or others. Would it not be wonderful, Beloved, if everyone could see this? That it is possible to change everything in the twinkling of an eye? From one breath to the next? From the crest of a wave, to its fall, and to the new wave rising? Let us examine some of the obstacles which hinder simple thinking, simple living, simple evolving, simple communication, simple decision-making, and simple dying.
There is a wonderful word you use which is called “dithering”. This involves copious amounts of mental energy whereby the advantages and disadvantages are weighed up again and again in tortuous repetition. Why do you repeat them? Is once not enough to learn? This can be COMPLETELY AVOIDED if you are secure in the knowledge of your steps, your path, your desires, your destination. (And if you are mistaken in your destination, KNOW THAT THERE WILL BE OBSTACLES TO SHOW YOU JUST THAT).
BE ABSOLUTELY SURE OF YOUR GUIDING STAR, then dithering will not be an option. Then it will be immediately obvious whether the opportunities presented to you are actually opportunities, spuring you on the way to this star, or whether they are merely distractions or signposts momentarily dissuading you from your stated goal. ABSOLUTE CLARITY OF PURPOSE MAKES CHOOSING A SIMPLE PROCESS.
SIMPLE EVOLVING and FLUID PROGRESS occurs when every experience is processed, looked at briefly, appreciated for its lesson and then RELEASED. If every incident or encounter was immediately processed in this way every day, before the fall of night, the heavy traces of resentful memories would no longer take their toll on your skin. Instead of worn and weary faces, you would eternally wear the expression of youth.
SIMPLE LIVING can give great joy. You have less to wash, clean, care for, organise, replace, repair, conserve, renovate, renew, rearrange, reconstruct, dust, protect, insure or throw out. This means you have more time for health, service, the joy of being in nature, shared companionship and creativity. Those with huge amounts of possessions will find that they themselves are possessed with thoughts which preoccupy them, worry them and burden them. LET IT ALL GO. Ensure constant flow of energy as opposed to energy swallowed by material things.
SIMPLE COMMUNICATION can be reduced to just three words: I LOVE YOU. Eradicate all fear. Do not try and imagine what the other person might think or say. Do not torment yourselves with phantoms of rejection or shock or surprise or anger on the part of the listener, for it is enough for you to feel the joy of love flowing through you, so you can say it anyway. Dance along the street at the same time, singing your happiness, your peace, your confidence, your love.
SIMPLE DYING is presently prevented by a huge variety of obstacles. There are so many traditions and superstitions surrounding this process that it is difficult for you earth children to conceive of the SIMPLICITY of this. You move from one existence to the next, like you move from one classroom to the next, like you move from one second to the next. It is just the next step on the path. Your beliefs, your sadness, your fears, your expensive traditions make this a VERY DIFFICULT PASSAGE whereas, if looked upon as simply another experience towards more joy and knowing, it is as simple as a kiss and goodbye, followed almost immediately by a kiss and hallo.
We urge you to pare away ALL UNNECESSARY RITUALS AND LINGERING HEAVY-HEARTEDNESS IN THIS PROGRESSION AS IN ALL PROGRESSIONS. RELEASE YOUR OBSESSION WITH HOLDING ON, FOR HOLDING ON WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT MEANS NOTHING MORE THAN DRAGGING YOUR FEET ON A PATH WHICH (However long it takes you to travel) CAN ONLY LEAD TO YOUR ULTIMATE HAPPINESS AND FULFILLMENT.
And we say LEAVE EVERYTHING BEHIND SO THAT YOU MAY GAIN EVERYTHING. Release after learning, and move on into a future which will beautiful and luminous beyond compare in its SACRED SIMPLICITY. We love you, Seraphin.
