Re: The Purpose of Life? There is none! . . . ....
G'day Bob,
Thank you for your thoughts on the purpose of life.
They are complex and beautiful.
I keep it simple:
The purpose of life for me is to Love neighbour as self for the love of God.
Of course to do that I have to learn what love is, who my neighbour is; and who I AM. When I have done that I will love God (All) for I will know that I am part of God, since God IS love.
I find that to clear the confusion within me I have to understand the (virtual) world outside me.
Given the incredibly dense and dark environment in which we are born, raised, socially conditioned and mind controlled, that has been a very difficult task for me and, I suspect, for most humans.
The reason I analyse information (such as is contained in the film THRIVE) coming from the material world 'outside' of me, is so I can clean my thoughts in order to reduce the confusion within, and thus better understand who I AM.
It is of course true that we cannot tell any one anything or be told anything unless the experience is already perceived and at least partially understood within.
However, I express my thoughts on RMN and elsewhere as an act of love - a gift - of what I have.
Some who, like me, are struggling to sift through the deliberate confusion constantly dumped on us by those whose (contracted?) task is apparently to create it, may use my thoughts to develop some personal insights to lessen their own confusion. But if not, not.
In my experience, freedom from those causes that bring about confusion comes from understanding what the confusion IS, how it is created and who creates it.
While such freedom comes from going within to consult one's god-self (however expressed) in my experience it usually requires a reasonable grip on the external factors that have led to the confusion in the first place. But that's just me...
I don't consider that identifying misleading, false and/or predatory information and activities and the perpetrators thereof; is BLAMING individuals, groups or organizations; rather
I see it as identifying pitfalls and confusions in life, much like identifying the location of a hole in the road, and warning travellers of its presence and the consequences of falling into it. Of course those who refuse to see a pitfall when it is pointed out to them will remain confused and fall into it.
Moreover, they will continue to do that in life after life if that's their choice, until they DO SEE IT.
In my view, identifying those who deliberately create such pitfalls is just part of removing confusion.
'Blaming' is not part of the equation.
A corollary of that is that forgiveness is automatic.
I also think I am my brother's keeper in the sense that, although I cannot 'save' another, - that's their purpose. I am responsible for not adding to their confusion.
Incidentally, I agree with Morgan that the purpose of life is 'to get over it'. Of course, as suggested, that requires removing confusion otherwise we have to come back and do it all over again.
Peace be with you,
Ron
