Ron: Here is a letter I sent to the Canberra Times today.
Canberra Times, Letters Editor.
Trudy Rubin, ‘Keep asking#WhereisPengShuai?' CT, 5/12/21, p.14, covers a Canberra Times opinion page bemoaning the fate of Peng Shuai saying her plight has drawn global attention.
Ask yourself: ‘Why do the Canberra Times and Australia's MSM obsess about the love life of a wealthy 35 year old Chinese tennis player?' What's the agenda?
There are 1.4 billion Chinese; what's special about PengShuai? She had a long-term consensual sexual relationship with an older male offiical which he stopped and subsequently sought to resume. She became ambivalent. What's unusual about that?
IF Western sports officials and the MSM want to agonise over the fortunes of a rich female sports star how about they spare some concern for tens of thousands of missing Chinese babies and children and millions of children trafficked, tortured and raped by global elites worldwide. Epstein Island comes to mind. Has anyone "seen or heard" about children trafficked there or through the surrounding pedophile owned islands? Why don't they matter to the Canberra Times? Is it because they're too young or poor to play tennis?
Why doesn't the MSM care about the corruption exposed in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial? IF the sexual well being of Peng Shuai is vital to the Australian MSM narrative how much more relevant should be the savage sexual exploitation of children by Epstein and Maxwell and their ilk?
Demonising China is distracting public attention away from the industrial strength sexual exploitation of children by global elites and their lackeys.
