Ron: Here is a letter I sent to the Canberra Times today.
Letters Editor,
In ‘Political gold in post virus health hump', CT, 15/1/22, pp.24-25, Jack Waterford, in a data free expression of opinion, says COVID-19 and the reaction to its "Moronic" variant necessitates more expenditure on hospitals and medical care.
I disagree. Arguably what's needed is a proper analysis of the COVID-19 phenomena combined with a realistic assessment of the costs and benefits of allopathic medicine versus natural diet and health care. For starters, THAT requires a detailed assessment of the data relating to actual illnesses and their causes; treatments and their results; and hospitalisations and deaths; with accurate diagnoses and assessment of ALL the data.
Jack also opines that testing positive to coronavirus by a RATS or PCR test means an individual is highly contagious even if s/he is asymptomatic, i.e. healthy; as for instance, Novak Djokovic obviously is. If applied to all possible coronaviruses let alone all illnesses, THAT criterion could be used to quarantine the entire population forever, especially if the population is routinely tested on a daily basis with those flawed tests.
Apart from the fact that there's no published evidence ANYWHERE that the dreaded COVID-19 or its "Moronic" variant has been isolated, ie demonstrated to exist; no correlation between testing positive under the RATS and PCR tests and being ill or contagious has been demonstrated.
Labelling Novak Djokovic's views on choice and the dangers of vaccination as "dotty" and implying that he might expose competitors and officials to disease is potentially defamatory.
Sincerely,
