Ron: This is an excellent video presentation. Machine intelligence has no Creator gifted spirit and cannot love which is the God given essence of life. Hence AI cannot develop empathy which is a trait gifted by the Creator to human beings along with free will and personality. The threat to humans and our universe posed by uncontrolled development of AI on this planet is currently limited by Universe Management's withholding of the ability to further develop computer power here. Assuming that humans here will be unable to develop Artificial General Intelligence the immediate problem we must confront and overcome is the need to radically change our money meme paradigm and the ingrained social conditioning that has most people thinking that they ARE what they DO for a living. We need to realise that human beings are not meant to be slaves and robots but have a sublime divine destiny to become ONE with the Creator. That means that we must learn to love and care for everyone and everything. As we become free from the everyday grind previously required to survive on this planet we must learn to share and care for others and the planet. THAT will provide ample motivation and activity to replace the free range serfdom (wage slavery) that has enslaved us until now.
As we are apparently still unable to dispense with the money meme, humans here will need to eliminate private corporations or, at least, their unlawful though currently legal, personhood. In addition, privately owned corporate governments and international organisations like the UN, as well as so-called NGOs and charitable Foundations, must be abolished. Governance arrangements need to revert to localised republican governance structures organised and controlled by local communities that properly control and tax the production and distribution of goods and services used by the community.
Is technology making man smarter, or dumber? Whereas the Industrial Revolution and subsequent advances in microprocessing held the promise of indefinite progress for mankind, the 21st century digital networking revolution seems to have something different in store for the west.
For the first time since The Enlightenment we are witnessing a downward slope in educational standards and intellectual development across core disciplines. Meanwhile, under the guise of "tackling fake news," global corporate monopolies are carefully controlling what we see, read, think and talk about. Every move we make is harvested as data in a 24 hour digital matrix which tracks, records and commodifies everything we do. Can the individual survive this turbulent period in human development?
