update: Well the last laugh is one me, it was going behind the arm on the occulting disk which strangely though took 7 1/2 hours, from the remaining tip, to the emerging tip. They did play a really serious game back when the real Jupiter appeared on lasco c2 about February 26th, I think it was.  The had a similar smudge, on c3 as "jupiter" went behind the occulting disk, and then the next image or too, the placed the famous ball way over to the LEFT, which was really funny at the time. They do play games, but you can laugh me off on this one!

Dear NASA, I just love watching you all play games with the satellite images.  Well, here's a good one you are playing, I just noticed, except I can't figure the reason. Since maybe 10 days ago or so,  we have been watching what is supposed to be Mercury, making transit. Most of the time it was the familiar little ball you always use for Mercury, Jupiter, and Venus. I don't know if you use it for Mars or not.

A couple days ago or so, you changed the ball for Mercury, into an image that looked more "real" as "Mercury" enter the LASCO c2 image. Shouldn't it be continuing to travel across LASCO c3 today? Especially since you still have "it "on C2?  Check out these images you have on the SOHO site. How long have you been playing games?  What the shit is going on here?????!!!!!!!

http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov//data/REPROCESSING/Completed/2010/c3/20100315/20100315_1242_c3_512.jpg   12:42   utc, showing shiny thingy you have used for a couple days or more.

http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov//data/REPROCESSING/Completed/2010/c3/20100315/20100315_1418_c3_512.jpg      now 1 1/2 hours later, it's an odd half moon or comet looking type image, not shiny at all.

http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov//data/REPROCESSING/Completed/2010/c3/20100315/20100315_2318_c3_512.jpg   and now at 23:18 there is NO thingy whatsoever, and this continues thru the current images of  the new UTC day, March 16th, at  00:42  UTC, which was just about 2 hours ago as I finish this post.

Yet you still have the shiny, NONE ball images on LASCO c2 STILL below  at 00:54, and in fact for all the recent photos today. FUNNY! I think anyway.

OK Readers, if you want to see them all for the current time frame, just visit http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/data/realtime-images.html    and then select the link UNDER each of the LASCO images. Some of you may wish to save them to your computer, in case NASA decides to "fix" the problem.
