Now, the topic at hand. USGS is erasing quakes.  Last evening my time, shortly after the Santa Cruz quake there was a 6 in Vanuatu.  It was erased shortly after. During my previous night, when I was up because of sleeping issues, there was a 5.1 wuake Southern California quake near the Mexican border on the right side of the line of quakes, that was erased by the time I got back up.

They have erased perhaps a dozen small quakes that were between the line of quakes from last weeks big quake in Mexico, and San Diego.  I guess they don't want those that watch from that area to notice quakes spreading in that direction.

Last Sunday they erased a 4+ quake in the Geyser area in northern California.

They continue  to seriously downgrade quakes also.  What are our "leaders" worrying about?
